John Karkazis, better known as Johnny K, is an American record producer, engineer and mixer. He owns Groovemaster Recording Studios in Chicago. In addition to the studios, his music complex includes a gymnasium, rehearsal rooms, and pre-production rooms. No One (band)
No One was an American four-piece nu metal band from Chicago, Illinois. They released one studio album through Immortal Records in August 2001 to minimal success. No One has performed on Ozzfest and alongside the likes of Slipknot and System of a Down. After lagging commercial success, the group disbanded in 2003. They reformed in 2010 and began performing concerts again. Two of their members, guitarist B-Larz (Bob Bielarz) and bassist Flare (Mike Flaherty), died in 2014 and 2019 respectively, and No One remains mostly inactive as of 2022. Career Vocalist Murk and guitarist B-Larz originally came together in 1994 under the name Black Talon. With the addition of bassist Flare and drummer Billy K, No One was born. They played their first concert on August 5, 2000 at Champ’s. Desensitized (Drowning Pool Album)
''Desensitized'' is the second studio album by American rock band Drowning Pool. It was their first album since the death of vocalist Dave Williams as well as the only album to feature replacement vocalist Jason Jones. The album debuted at number 17 on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart. The album cover features porn star Jesse Jane. ''Desensitized'' shows less nu metal elements than Drowning Pool's previous album, '' Sinner''. Jones left the band soon after the album's release because of personal and musical differences. "Step Up” is the only song from ''Desensitized'' that is played live during today's performances. Earshot is an American alternative metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1999. The band's lineup has changed several times during their existence, with vocalist Wil Martin being the band's sole constant member. After signing to Warner Bros. ''Two'' is the second album by American alternative metal band Earshot, released on June 22, 2004. The album would go on to spawn commercial success with the album's first single "Wait" being featured in multiple video games, the album's second single "Someone", as well as garnering significant radio airplay. ''Redefine'' (also styled as ''re·de·fine'') is the third studio album by American rock band Soil. It was released on March 23, 2004 via J Records. ''Redefine'' was Soil's final album with vocalist Ryan McCombs before he left the band in October that year. He would later rejoin the band in 2011. It was also Soil's last release through J Records after the band was dropped following the Sony/BMG merger. Finger Eleven is a Canadian rock band from Burlington, Ontario, formed in 1990. They have released seven studio albums (six as Finger Eleven and one as Rainbow Butt Monkeys), with their album '' The Greyest of Blue Skies'' bringing them into the mainstream. Their 2003 self-titled album achieved Gold status in the United States and Platinum in Canada, largely from the success of the single " One Thing", which marked the band's first placing on the US Hot 100 Chart at number 16. ''Finger Eleven'' is the third studio album by the Canadian rock band Finger Eleven from Burlington, Ontario. Machine Head is an American heavy metal band from Oakland, California. The band was formed in 1991 by vocalist/rhythm guitarist Robb Flynn, who remains the only original member of the band. Machine Head's aggressive musicianship made it one of the pioneering bands in the new wave of American heavy metal. Its current lineup comprises Flynn, bassist Jared MacEachern, lead guitarist Wacław Kiełtyka and drummer Matt Alston.
